Why Children Seem to Be More Psychic than Adults

Psychic Ability- Is There Any Truth To It?
Psychic ability seems to be a far-fetched idea to some. To others, it's a way of life and something that we are all born with. Many psychics state that each person is born with the ability to see, hear, smell, feel and have sensitivity to the spirit world and other paranormal phenomena.
Psychic ability may boil down to simply paying attention to your surroundings and being aware of what surrounds you. Adults have a tendency to be very busy people, busily going about their daily chores and responsibilities without noticing the world around them. Do adults live in each moment fully, or are we all on a constant 'auto-pilot' switch?
Do Children See More Than Adults?
The answer to this question might be yes, simply because children live in the present moment and don't live their lives with the heavy baggage of what society deems to be truth. Young children, before the age of 9 or 10 appear to have a sixth sense when it comes to seeing and hearing spirits or paranormal phenomena. There are literally hundreds of documented cases where children have come out of surgeries or near-death experiences, drawing pictures of angels or saying that they talked to a spirit on the 'other side'. Some scientists or psychiatrists might contribute this to how the human brain functions, and say they were simply having a dream. People who study such phenomena state that the children were so close to the spirit world, they come back remembering all of the vivid details.
Other cases of children seeing or hearing spirits and communicating with them have been witnessed by people claiming to have spirits in their home. Children as young as two have been reported talking to spirits who couldn't be seen by the adult who was present at the time. Imaginary friend or something more? Are the children actually seeing and hearing spirits?
How Adults Learn From the Children
As children, our world is filled with wonder. We take in each breath of fresh air and at the same time,our experiences bring wonder and fascination. We play in mud puddles, the rain, watch clouds float by in the expansive sky, and take joy in each moment. Children don't live with filters. They don't assume anything or have preconceived notions of whether it is truth or not. Perhaps this is the key the adults need to use to unlock their psychic abilities.
