Elizabeth Foley was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on May 15,1957, and grew up as a tomboy who loved to hike, bike, snowshoe, swim and also loved games such as chess, checkers and cards. It was not until 2002 that she exchanged her playing cards for angel cards. And that story is indeed a fascinating one.
After Elizabeth finished her elementary and high school education she attended Rivier College in Nashua, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. That was followed by a Bachelor's degree in Counseling and Guidance at Boston University and a Master's degree in Public Health from the Boston University Medical School. A well-educated young woman, she was not at all interested in the world of angels and while her mother would from time to time make the odd prediction, that was as far as it went in Elizabeth's life.
Religious Faith
Elizabeth was raised in the Roman Catholic Church, which she said she didn't relate to, and her time there came to an abrupt end when the parish priest was convicted of crimes against children. Elizabeth, from then on found her own way and has never turned back. She has great reverence for Mother Mary and says that she was blessed by Mary one day at the beach.
The Divine Mother
One morning Elizabeth was feeling badly stressed and wanted to get away from telephones and email so she packed up some books and headed for the beach. She often talked to Mother Mary and on this occasion asked her for a sign that something Elizabeth was working on was what Mary desired. She asked for a very clear sign...if Mary wished this project to go through Elizabeth wanted her to show her a heart-shaped stone.
Several minutes later Elizabeth got up and walked a several feet away to examine a pile of stones. A few feet from the pile of stones there was a buried rock that seemed to beckon to Elizabeth. She went to it and unearthed it to find it was a perfect heart-shaped stone with a cross in the middle.
And this is what Elizabeth Foley's life has been ever since she discovered the angels. This came about when her mother had an angel reading with Scott McGuffey and was radiant afterward. Two months later, in 2002, Elizabeth had a reading with the same man and she got his book and read it in bed one night.
"My soul caught on fire," says Elizabeth. Scott McGuffey became her spiritual mentor from that time on. In March of 2001, Elizabeth wanted to attend an angel workshop given by Doreen Virtue but did not want to take the $4,000 out of her savings. She once again contacted her angels and said, "If you want me to go you will have to supply the money." Soon after, she received an unexpected company bonus that paved the way for her to take the workshop.
Divine Healing
There is so much more to tell about Elizabeth Foley's life as it is now. She is very busy with her private sessions as well as unique workshops and certifications programs about Angels, Spirituality , Psychic Development and Soul Therapy at Divine Healing in Nashua, New Hampshire. She has traveled the United States and Canada, and in the fall of 2009 will be going to New Zealand to present her workshops. She also does 20 to 30 angel reading a week in person, on the telephone or email.
Her advice in these days of economic challenges and turbulent times is to:
1) Keep calm...panic will lead to worse things.
2) Slow down and breathe.
3) Ask the angels for a clear sign that you are on the right road. Be definite in what you ask for, and ask it for the highest good of everyone.
4) You are all powerful beings of light.
